Grand Hotel Egersund

Fantastic breakfast - home made strawberry, as well as raspberry jam! And the freshly baked bread: amazing! And the helpful receptionist who we rented bikes from, and who explained where to get to "Gamle Jærbanen". Very affordable parking too.

Breakfast was great and maintained at level even when a bus of elderly people swept over the breakfast buffets. A special note for the fantastic collection of wines and quality of the dinner. Impressive.

Very helpful staff. We had bikes they were happy to lock inside for us. Breakfast had good selection including freshly fried eggs and kitchen staff were on hand to provide other options if needed. We stayed on 17th May and could see the procession from our room window. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and well furnished.

The location of the Grand hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Egersund, and the view from my window over the main street was great. It was spotless, and the breakfast was lovely, as were the staff.

All was great in general. Very beautiful architecture; the room and the bathroom was very big (i was surprised as usually is the oposite). The hotel restautant was very good - there are plenty to shoose from and it served very nice. Sraff nice - no problem there.
